New impetus for the BIH Charité Clinician Scientist Program

Stiftung Charité funds Clinician Scientists with a focus on digital translation and establishes internationalization grants

As a longstanding supporter and de facto initiator of the program, Stiftung Charité is renewing its commitment to the BIH Charité Clinician Scientist Program and giving it new impetus in the process: Starting this year, new internationalization grants will strengthen international scientific exchange. To be eligible to apply for one of these competitive grants, individuals must be current or former BIH Charité Clinician Scientists. Furthermore, Stiftung Charité funds new positions for Clinician Scientists with a special focus on digital translation and has pledged to do so for the next five years. This funding aims at individuals working on the integration of artificial intelligence and extended reality into everyday clinical care. The call for applications will be made in collaboration with the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité.
