The Clinician Scientist program in Berlin has established itself as a new and valuable career path for combining clinical practice and research during the challenging phase of specialist training. Stiftung Charité is a proud co-initiator, sponsor and cooperation partner of the program in Berlin, which Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité have been administering for several years now. In addition, the Digital Clinician Scientist program provides funding specifically for undertakings in the realm of computational medicine.
The current application deadline for the BIH Charité (Digital) Clinician Scientists as well as the BIH Charité Junior (Digital) Clinician Scientists is September 5, 2023 at 1 pm. The BIH’s Clinician Scientist office offers two office hours for applicants. These will take place on August 22, 2023 and August 31, 2023 via MS Teams. In addition, attending the information session on “criteria of robust and transparent science” may be helpful in writing the application (August 18, 2023). Women are encouraged to contact the Clinician Scientist office for more individual coaching focused on writing their proposal and/ or how to perform successfully in front of the selection committee.
